Eight questions, about two minutes

Where does your firm actually stand on AI?

Written for regulated and professional services firms, so it skips the basics. Eight questions on what is written down, what your data estate looks like, and what is actually driving this. You get the result at the end without leaving an email address.

In short

The EPX Intelligence AI readiness assessment is eight questions covering governance and evidence, data estate and adoption, and the mandate behind the work. It scores those three dimensions, then tells you which of the four pillars to start at, the single gap that matters most, and two things you can do in the next fortnight without buying anything. It runs in your browser and takes about two minutes.

What you get back

What the result actually tells you

Three scores, not one

Governance and evidence, data and adoption readiness, and the mandate behind the work. One overall number would hide which of the three is actually holding you up.

Which pillar to start at

Governance, enablement, transformation or development, with the reason. Sometimes the answer is that the groundwork comes first, and it will say so.

The one gap that matters most

Drawn from your actual answers rather than from your score, so it names a specific thing rather than a category.

Two things to do next

Both doable in a fortnight, and neither needs anything bought from anybody. A diagnostic that only ever recommends a purchase is not a diagnostic.

Questions about the assessment

Will this trigger a sales call?

No, completing the EPX Intelligence AI readiness assessment does not trigger a sales call. The result appears on screen and no email address is requested at any point. Booking a discovery call afterwards is entirely your decision.

How accurate can eight questions be?

Eight questions are accurate enough to tell you which pillar to start at, and not accurate enough to scope a programme. The assessment is a triage tool. It is deliberately built to sort the three things that actually determine sequencing: what is written down, what state the data estate is in, and whether there is a mandate behind the work. The fixed price readiness assessment is what produces a scoped answer.

Should we do this with our compliance lead and IT manager?

Doing the assessment separately with your compliance lead and your IT manager is more revealing than doing it together. Where the three of you answer the same question differently is usually the most useful finding of the exercise, and it is the conversation we would want to start from.

Is this the same as the quiz on the EPX IT site?

No, this assessment is a different instrument to the Intelligence Ladder quiz on the EPX IT tools site. That one is built for smaller firms deciding whether to begin with AI at all, and it lands on the EPX IT packages. This one assumes you are past that question and sorts which of the four EPX Intelligence pillars fits your position. If your answers suggest the lighter EPX IT route is the better fit, the result will say so.

Or skip the questions

If you already know where you stand, book the call.

Thirty minutes, no proposal attached. The assessment exists to help people who are not sure, and there is no need to complete it first.
